Is it possible to change the gamma value on my 6600gt.

Im using overlay.

Im currently using it with the Nvidia decoder set.

When i made the switch to DVI/HDMI the PQ got better , however it is is a tad dark.

Increasing brightness makes it burn the highlights.

Im using 67.66 driver.

Do yourself a HUGE favor, and buy Avia/DVE. This sounds like a conflict between contrast and brightness. IIRC you shouldn't fiddle with gamma.


Also, is there any reason you are using Overlay instead of VMR9?

I prefer the PQ in overlay also i get tearing in VMR9.

Used driver cleaner pro and installed 67.03 (as recomended in prev. thread) instead , made no diffrens.
