According to a friend with Charter HD service here in the Atlanta area, the CBS HD channel has been added by Charter in time for the SuperBowl.


This puts the Charter HD offering in the Atlanta area on a par with Comcast HD as far as local HD channels is concerned. Both now offer CBSHD, NBCHD and Fox Digital. Neither offers ABC HD probably because of our 'friends' at Cox who own the local station. Just my opinion on the last part.

Not really sure of the coverage area, but I know folks who have this service in Forsyth and Gwinnett counties, both north and east of the city. I have Comcast HD and I am in the Lawrenceville area (also Gwinnett) so I don't know the breakdown of coverage for either.

I have Charter in Smyrna. They just added CBS and the new 7.07 firmware download. That means the DVI port on the moto5100 box is now active.
