In the latest PC World, they have a quick (1/4 page) blurb on projectors for Home Theater, Computer, etc. Unfortunatly, I don't have the article with me now, but they were all pretty much 2000. The ones the recommended were from Panasonic and Canon (I think).. They were LCD, 700 Lumens. Thats about all I know. In my new house I have "my" room in the basement, which is about 25x17, with *full* control of the light (It can be pitch black in the day). I curretnly have a Mits 46805 RPTV, but if we put that upstairs, we really like the idea of a small (6lb or so) projector and a big screen, especially for space savings.. So, the question - are any of the projects that can be had for ~2K adequate, or is that simply too low-end? I watch a lot of DVD and HDTV, and would love to also be able to do some computer stuff and Satellite TV on it..

I'll update this message w/the models when I get back to work on Monday..

Thanks for any info,

Frank.
