I don't know if anyone has done this before. I was in Home Depot hardware store just looking for ideas (for my future NEC150), then I stumbled onto these ceiling mounts for TVs, you can place the projector on the platform plate which can support up to 100 lbs anyway, you don't even have to invert the image. All for $50.

If only I can figure out how to run the wires up with approval from the wife.

Keep in mind that the optics of the LT150 actually project in an upward direction, not straight ahead, so for any height over a couple of feet, you will have to invert mount or tilt the projector downward. My LT150 sits on a cart right behind my sofa, so I have to tilt it downward to hit my screen right. Works great, I can't see and image problems. As for keystoning, I don't see it because I bleed the wide part of the image into the black screen masking.
