Just wanted to share an inspirational story. I have been getting lots of great ideas from this forum! It is the best! I have been searching for Insulshield like everyone else, when I read the post about Permacoate Linacoustic Standard and the fact that it is same thing, but for commercial use (Insulshield is consumer branding/pricing). I then called JM and asked for their distributors. For a 100 ft. roll, I managed to get prices down around $180.00, which is pretty darn good. I called my 6th distributor in a city about 2-3 hours away, and the guy felt sympathetic and sold me a "spare roll" he had floating around for $50.00!!!! $20.00 shipping (that he arranged) to a nearby warehouse for me to pick up was the only extra.
The lesson is do not give up after the first quote, as you may get lucky and find someone willing to give you a break!
