I'm looking to replace an errant DirecTV receiver that is connected to my Replay. Obviously since it's connected to the Replay, I don't much care about the features and the guides and such. The only function I want to make sure of is the serial connection for control.


Anyone know any dirt cheap DSS receivers?

I bought a Sony Sat-A3 for a few months back for $95. I got it at Circuit City and I don't remember if that was a sale price or not.

Ask about demos or open box units. I got an RCA DSS box from Circuit City for $25.00. Hard to beat that.
