cheap solution power cycle on/off

Does anyone have a suggestion for a cheap solution to remotely power cycle off/on over the internet? I have a remote cable box I sling off of and occassionally need to power cycle the cable box since it hangs sometimes. Is there an IR controlled power module or cheap x10 solution? I can remotely control the PC at this location so a PC based solution would be best.

take a look at an iboot by dataprobe. They have many models from single outlet to multiple outlets. You may also want to look for them on ebay as i have seen some for 15 bucks every now and then.

Here's another option -- I use one for auto-cycling my HDPVR's when they hang...

Do you have kids? They work really good at this and they are voice activated

Or you can email somone to turn the unit on and off. That works over the Internet
