What is the cheapest two way receiver? I'd prefer serial (rs232) but tcp/ip will work as well.

Sorry I meant for control purposes. I think the Onkyo 509 can do two way control through TCPIP, but was looking for something cheaper.


2 Way Control - Eg, Using remote control to volume, the volume is displayed on the remote (need 2 way remote).

Not sure where you get the NR509 can do anything close to what you want, but your finger must have slipped and hit the 5, not the 7(NR709).


Unless you are talking about internet apps(iphone/Droid), which has nothing do do with what you are actually asking for. Which I'm not even sure the NR509 allows app control anyway.
