Gonna give my speakers to my brother, but need to keep my receiver. Any ideas what the cheaper 5.1 receiver would be?

Until i can buy a new receiver (7.1), which will be a loooong time from now, im going to keep the receiver from the Onkyo HTiaB i have. It is actually decent; it works for my applications but i definitely want to upgrade it.


I gave my brother the speakers/woofer that came in that HTiaB. I would like it to have audyssey (most basic, 2eq is fine), but it doesnt really matter. I do live close to a Frys. I want to spend as little as possible.

Fry's has the Onkyo NR509 on sale for $199 which has Audyssey 2EQ plus networking for streaming internet radio, Pandora etc, and USB for iPod. You might want to keep that for yourself.
