The cheapest original inside lamp that I can find for my old epson tw2000 projector (outside ebay) costs about £115 with shipping

but on ebay at 99.8% feedback is the same thing for £35! (although it lsits the correct part number it then says "Compatible Bulb Inside" which sounds like its a copy

at 100% feedback and 2k feedback is £65! This one's descriptions doesn't worry me at all!

Is there any reason I shouldn't trust these dealers? I am very close to purchasing the last one.
Thanks.

I don't suggest buying projector lamps from Ebay.

Not even at 90% off other places.

First thing you should do is ask AVS for a price. They have great prices and you are here so that's just a good idea.

Maybe a second plan would be to seek the original bulb from a place that sells original bulbs. That's harder than you may think. I bought from one site that was very preachy about how important it was to use original Phillips bulbs and then they sent me a knock off.

(They claimed it was a new vendor they were working with and replaced it with an original bulb but it really really surprised me because they had all these testimonials on site about how important original bulb replacements are.)

A place I know that sells original bulbs are great prices is called purelandsupply.

ok thanks.
IS there any way for an amateur like myself to know whether a bulb is genuine though?
If I cant prove it, perhaps I may as well get a cheaper one anyway?
How does that ebay vendor have 2k feedback and 100% positive if they are all knockoffs? Maybe they are very good copies.
