Sounds way to high to me. Consider that you can buy a very nice new system for that amount of money (with factory warranty). Don't get me wrong - the Chiro was well reviewed when it was out. But, there is no upgrade path and the preamp is strickly 5.1 surround (no 6.1 or 7.1, no DPL II, no component video switching, etc.). Maybe if it were $1500-$1800, then I might bite, but not having a way to get the equipment serviced may be a deal-breaker at any price!
