From the splitter outside I have a line going to three tv's upstairs. Right now it is split off at 4db going to one tv and 4db going to the other 2 (split off again). My question is should I use a directional coupler at the first split. If so which db loss rating should it have?
I'm guessing a 6 db.

Thank you for your help.

Why do you think you need to change things?

Yeah, changing a split to a DC-6 will only gain you about 1.5 dB on the through leg. If you need that to get a decent picture then something else is wrong...

Well if it doesn't do much then I won't bother. I was just trying to improve the picture a little bit.

Thanks
