My gear:

Marantz NR 1504

NHT Absolute Zero - left and right

NHT Two C Center

NHT B-10d - sub

My new system is sounding pretty good so far, I'm still tweaking and playing around with sub placement, but I'm having fun. I want to get my in ceiling rears in before the ISF calibrator comes out, so he can tune and calibrate everything. Is it ok to mix brands for my in ceiling rears? I'm thinking of some less expensive Polks or something in the $200 a pair range. The NHT rears are a little over budget at $300 each.

Thank you in advance.

Yes, as we discussed, you can mix rears, especially if the speakers are directional and behind your head.

Thank you Dawn. I was looking at something inexpensive like Polk RC60i or RC80i. Both have tweeters I can aim
