I have the BIC F12. It's an okay sub-woofer although a bit boomy and not as tight as I prefer. The RSL Speedwoofer gets a lot of love and is in your price range.

You're going to need to post more information like how large your room is, what type of movies/music you watch, and what exactly you're looking for (do you want to FEEL the bass and shake the walls?). Based on what I've been through trying to get a good subwoofer for both movies and music, you're going to need to go bigger than your options unless you aren't trying to get to subsonic levels.

I would recommend checking out PSA, they are a great value but still great quality and their customer service is bar none. The V1801 would be my choice.

Any reason Rythmik is not on your list?

I believe the L12 would be in your price range.
