How about DNP/Visage? I suggest requesting samples. Every room is different and what is acceptable to you could be different from others.

Chromavue vs. severtson
hi guys!
Im new in the HT scene and just decided to get a sony vpl-hs51A.
But it seems to be more difficult to choose a proper screen than a pj
My HT room isnt very well light controlled...2 windows are in there and walls/ceiling are white (maybe ill paint them darker later, but until now its impossible - female reasons... *g*)
My max. screen budget is about 2000 $
it should reject some ambient light but ill probably not watch it in full sun light... so curtains will be shut...
I read hours and hours a looooooooot of reviews (BIG THXxX TO ALL YA GUYS!) and had a look at even more screenshots/samples.
Now there are 2 main candidates left:
Severtson Ultra Contrast 1.5 gain; Sonys Chromavue 1.7 gain
unfortunately i couldnt find any comparisons of those 2 products!
Is anyone out there who has seen BOTH products (same time or not doesnt matter...) and can tell me its opinion which one i should prefer!? and if possible - WHY!?
any other suggestions are also very welcome! If necessary i also can post some pictures of my living/HT - room.

thx for the tip ned...well, i alrdy asked for several screen samples....dnp,screeninnovations,carada,firehawk,grayhawk,se vertson UC/HC,
but i couldnt find anyone getting a chromavue sample to me...so i wrote that post and hope anyone will be able to help me in that decision... i just need a comparison of the chromavue with any of the screensamples i have...so i can do a ranking and get the best for me!
