Just out dreaming tonight after Gladiator. I was reading this thread and got to wondering if there could be an optical adapter (pre- or post-Panamorph 1/2 of course) that would afford a curved screen?

Night all...

Its not the lens that determines if you can use a curved screen it is the projector.

All CRT projectors can be adjusted for use with a curved screen.

A single lens projector with a primary lens that shoots the image through the center of the lens will also work with a curved screen. The use of the panamorh will not change this.

The seleco ht200 ht250 and most 3 chip dlp projectors will work with a curved screen. Any digital projector whos image exits at an angle (the Davis exits at 17% to allow for keystone correction when ceiling mounting) will not work. Most projectors on the market use this type of lens.
