Did I kill my CS Platinum? I bought a proamp, (a Phonic Max860, it is rated at 880 watts @ 4ohms bridged, 1% THD), and was going to use it for my clark synthesis. I was watching Sky Captain, and I was watching the scene where the robots are tromping through the city, and the transducer stopped all together, but I figured the automatic fuse on the synthesis kicked in, and I tried again in an hour, and it still wasn't working, and now, 20 hours later, it still isn't working


I figure now that I blew it, any other thoughts?

The platinum is rated at 135 watts continuous, and 400 peak. You are feeding it 800 watts. YOU COOKED IT........... I am driving 2 Golds with a 200w per ch. stereo amp @8 ohm, and think that might be too much at times...
