I have an Hitachi 57S500 that I haven't cleaned in 5 years and I just cleaned the mirror, the guns and did some vacuuming around. However besides cobwebs and dust, I had smoker's film. Now, I want to clean the backside of the lenticular screen because I am pretty sure there is smoker's film on it. Any tips?

No one in the household hasn't smoked in 5 years..

No input at all?

It is recommended by the experts not to touch the screen what so ever if possible, unless you really have to. These type of screens are very absorbent to anything that comes in contact with them, thus the recommendation not to touched them so no grease from hands gets absorbed.

Now if you have to clean it there are two main recommendations; one is liquid from Monster to clean screens and the other is a mixture of rubbing alcohol and water. Never apply the liquid directly to the screen.

And of course use a lint free cloth or microfiber.

Hope this helps.
