I recently noticed two overlapping 4-5" faint white blobs on my 61" DLP TV monitor which are only visible on a completely dark screen image. They look just like a picture I saw of a blank screen from a DLP projector which apparently had dust on the DMD. Does anyone know if cleaning the DMD is possible at home rather than having to have the TV moved to a service center for cleaning? I've got an in-home warranty and really don't want to have to move my TV for such a small problem. Thanks!

The DMD is inside a sealed area. You cannot have dust on it in normal use and you cannot clean it if somehow it has dust on it.

I suspect you have dust somewhere else or some other problem.

Good question. No, the blobs are only visible when the TV is on.
