What is the "clear blue" for on a sony projector?

I think that a portion of the green channel is fed into the blue channel, boosting the blue a bit.


This is primarily for when using the projector as a computer monitor, eg. powerpoint slides, etc. - the blue can look a bit dim, the green peps it up a bit.


This isn't much use for home theatre, as your blues are no longer blue!

So i would want it off? It does seem my dark scenes are a little blue,and the

bias does not seem to clear this up?
