Clearmax 3000 cable box?

700 Views 2 Replies 2 Participants Last post by  The Robman
Does anyone know if Replay can be programmed to handle the Clearmaster 2000 or 3000 cable boxes?

The 2000 uses the same remote signal as the VCR/0037 device code but the buttons are arranged differently, the 3000 uses a different signal but I don't have a 30000 remote yet to determine what signal it uses.

Hey Replay guys, do you have the ability to add device codes interactively to the Replay units? If I tell you exactly what codes the Clearmax needs will you be able to program them if they're not already in the units?

ReplayTV can update the supported codesets to units in the field. The quickest way for you to get them is if you can identify the UEI or All For One codeset that the cable box works with. We can then add the support. If not I will start the ball rolling on getting them supported.

Thanks for the reply Eric. Clearmax sent me a 2000 remote and I have a 3000 on the way.

The 2000 uses the same codeset as UEIC/OFA VCR code 0037 but the button assignment is different. I have the Clearmax codes listed on my site, here a direct link to them: http://www.hifi-remote.com/cgi-bin/u...i?cbl_clearmax

UPDATE: I took another look at the code and although the format is the same as VCR 0037, the Clearmax uses an IR frequency of 54kHz, whereas the VCR/0037 frequency is about 38kHz.

As soon as I have the 3000 codes I will post them here for you.
