Cliff hanger Superbit is "crap"

I do believe the movie itself was along the same lines as the transfer.

Off topic, but I just watched the Ultimate Version of Fifth Element this weekend and OMG....I now believe the hype.

Hmm....I thought there were some threads a while back that spoke highly of the Cliffhanger SB?

I thought the Cliffhanger superbit was quite good, especially given the age of the movie.

I still have the Collector's Series version. At least it's anamorphic I quess.


Anyway, Cliff Hanger is special to me because I had just purchased a HUGE 20" TV with this new input called S-Video from a store in a mall. As I was leaving with it, I passed by a boutique (read: high priced) electronics shop that happened to be playing Cliff Hanger on a Wide Screen rear projection TV from a laserdisc player. I thought two things at that moment: (1) Holy S$#@ and (2) my huge tv really isn't that huge after all.
