I VODed Cloverfield over the weekend and the sound track on this movie was incredible my room was seriously shaking from the bass!! Does anyone know what bit rate the audio was encoded at?

On that note

Does MS used a standard AQ/PQ profile that all HD VOD are encoded too?

I don't know of any way to tell off hand, I would guess 448 DD. I know the Blu Ray version scored very high marks for is Audio quality. I suppose starting with a good lossless track makes for good sounding Dolby Digital when done right.

I think Ninja Gaiden is hard too.

He is talking about an XBOX LIVE Marketplace movie that he bought on his XBOX 360. It is still OT for this forum. Try actually reading before being so arrogant.

Yes what he said!
Ben Waggoner would be the person to ask on this forum. He's the resident Windows Media guy here and knows the peeps who do the encoding.

Too bad. I thought the Ninja Gaiden comment was pretty funny. Lighten up a little.

I'm sure that my post was simply the height of arrogance. Thank you for showing me the error of my ways.

And in that case, it's not really off-topic for this forum at all, so maybe you should check your own comments. I simply didn't notice the VOD'd part of his comment and was trying to be humorous (VOD is not a term that I am used to seeing.)

If I had offended Paradox as egregiously as I have offended you, I am sure he would have lashed out in a similar manner. Perhaps, on the other hand, he possesses a modicum of civility (or a sense of humor.)
Sorry, I tend to be loudmouthed, biased and opinionated at times. I apologize.

All the info I can supports the 448 kbps claim Tony made.

Ah, you stroke my ego. You are forgiven.

Since he hasn't posted again in his thread it makes sense.
