The battle of the 8-bay bow ties. Which one has more gain?

I went to order the 4228 today. The guy tells me he has to order two at a time and doesn't want to stock the other. The Winegard will ship one at a time but I don't have any specs on this. It's around $15 more too.

The construction is different; the 4228 use screen reflectors, the 8800 use horizontal booms. The 8800 has halfwave elements, the 4228 uses fullwave.

Joe, I have my Channel Master info at home, but my Winegard info is at work. However, Winegard does not publish their gain, F/B and beamwidth info. The Channel Master should have the edge in gain, F/B, and beamwidth. Both are excellent antennas

Code:
Code:
Antenna Model 4228
   Channel Gain BW F/B
      14 10.8 37° 22dB
      19 11.7 29° 23dB
      27 12.1 26° 21dB
      35 12.1 24° 19dB
      43 12.7 23° 24dB
      52 13.0 20° 21dB
      60 11.5 18° 20dB
Average Gain 12.0
