Ok, this is a late post but at 10pm Eastern tonight, CNN will broadcast

a special 3D presentation of Mars pix in 3D. You have to have glasses to view, however, if you have the AVIA DVD disc, you might try and use the filters which come with it....to view the presentation on your pj.

i'm not sure about this.. but i'm guessing this will only be posible using a 480i signal.

Nah, any broadcast signal will do it. Still have to have the glasses etc.
