There sure is .... Radio Shack just mailed me their catalogue and RS makes an optical / toslink switch p/n 4209569 $CDN 69.99.


As for the coax - I am pretty sure you can use a generic RCA jack type switch. What I found interesting is that RS also sells devices that change the coax to Toslink and vice versa.


Hope this helps - I haven't tried the above devices as my receiver has enough digital inputs for my sources.

I have an Audio Authority model 1177 It will let you connect 4 devices optical or coaxle in any combination. It outputs in both formats . It is an auto switcher too. I am very pleased with it.

I have the choice of connecting my Sony DVD 9000ES to the Lexicon MC-1 by either Toslink or digital coax


which will yield the best sound -- and I am assuming digital is better than analogue for the connection to the MC-1
