COD 4 intro. movie problem
I know this is pretty random, but...
anyone else notice that there's no sound coming out of the rear right speaker (in a 5.1 setup) during the COD 4 intro. movie? It's weird b/c there's definitely plenty of effects being directed to the right rear during gameplay, but asolutely nothing during the intro. movie. Can someone please let me know if they're experiencing the same issue or whether my system is just screwed up?

I tested this last night and didn't experience any issues. Maybe you have a faulty copy of the game?
Edit: Just remembered that I play with Dolby Prologic IIx processing. Could that have something to do with sound coming in? I'll try it later without it on and report back.

No. Start the game and let it sit. After a few seconds an "intro" movie will begin to play and no sound comes out of the right rear in a 5.1 set up.

I checked it out twice and it works on my end. Here's the odd thing though, it acts as an LFE channel. No specific content coming from it just low level audio. I double checked by increasing the volume level on the rear right channel. In game though it works as it should. This doesn't bother me much since I usually skip that intro to begin with.

I'm only using a stereo setup and it doesn't play out of my right speaker.. actually it was the left speaker when I noticed it but then later I noticed I heard a guy creeping up on my right but he shot me from my left.. get the gist.. anyway, had to switch my speaker wires and yea, it doesn't play from the right speaker at startup.. Not sure why, I was about to get pissed but then sound started coming from the speaker when I started the game up.
