[Porsche 911]

My friend and I have been trying to play spec ops. For some reason we are getting a connection error. However, we can play the standard multi-player just fine and by joining in with each other without an invite between random games.


The error only seems to happen when you get invited and accept the invite through the xmb - be it on spec opps or private match.


This is the message;


"Lost Connection to the other Special Ops player for 12 seconds."


I googled the issue and it seems to happen with other players however I haven't seen a fix for it.


Also, we were able to play spec. ops before the recent patch....would that have anything to do with it?

I saw this same connection issue in SpecOps a few weeks ago when playing with my friend over PSN. I didn't see connection issue error in Multiplayer. Don't know if it still occurs because we haven't played SpecOps together since.

I've been googling this thing and it's an issue...just no one knows how to fix it. They've turned off the NAT, rebooted modems, etc. and nothing. We really want to play spec ops but it has been a PIA and we've about given up.

the error message looks like it's coming from IW and not PS3.
