I have a component input from my Panasonic DV-525 to this projector using the "modified" cable discussed in this forum. I believe this DVD player is not progressive, but when I went into the "color matrix type" section of the projector's menu, I seem to get a better picture when I choose Pb/Pr rather than Cb/Cr. Is there any harm in just staying with Pb/Pr with an interlaced input? Also, should I be choosing HDTV or SDTV?

Lastly, anybody notice the picture is noticeably "wavy," like what you see on an old TV? Is this normal?

Any help would be appreciated! Thanks.

I don't see any harm to this - but you may be the first, most of us are using HTPCs and RGB input.

Please be a good forum member and post any tips or tweeks you discover with this implementation of thgis popular projector.
