Color noise on projector screen

Hello. I have a new home theater setup, with a Sony LCD projector, Cox HD cable box, and DVD player, all run through a Pioneer AV receiver via component cables. The AV reciever is connected to the projector via component cable.


The components-cable box and DVD-both look great when run straight-through to the projector via component cables. However, when run through the AV receiver, I get alternating bands of magenta and green, both doing a slow march up the projector screen. These lines are not visible when run through a standard TV set.


Any help on this will be appreciated...
