Color shift issue with Dish ViP 211

My recently-acquired ViP 211 satellite receiver shifts colors toward the blue end of the spectrum when outputting through the component video cables into a Toshiba RPTV. The color is correct when using the S-video output; I cannot test the HDMI out as my television has no HDMI capability. It's not the specific component input of the television, as when I shift my DVD player to that input the color is fine; conversely, hooking up the receiver to to component input normally occupied by the DVD player demonstrates the color error, so I think I have isolated the problem to the receiver.


Unfortunately, I don't have access to any other HD display device to which I can connect the sat box. Before venturing into the nightmare of Dish technical support, has anyone else had a similar problem? More importantly, has anyone learned of a cure for this? There was a brief tread on this issue a couple of months ago, but that thread didn't generate significant response; there are more ViP211 units in the field now, so perhaps others have encountered this problem?
