A lot. Download the demo and you will find out.
But is the hardware the same ?? I realize that the software package is much more advanced but is the colorimeter the same model and calibrated the same ?
Where do I get the update for my 5.5 version?

if it was CF 6 u asked about....
The more careful lab calibration of the sensor has never been answered in concrete terms - but one would hope so - and in my case I know so. It is the same sensor. If you are not a professional you are wasting money on ColorFacts Pro - it has a lot of features we need - support for various testpattern generators, support for many sensors, calibration databases, leave behind reports, multiple instrument views, multiple calibration standards, etc. Of course you can write spreadsheet macros and tap into the greyscale data with the cheaper packages.

Re: CF-Pro...

And it has plenty of bugs, that they don't seem to care or want to fix, and horrible customer support. All that and more, in their premier $2500 package.
