I need help. I have a PC hooked up to my 36" TV with an S-Video cable.

Everything looks as good as I could have hoped except the colour Red. It "bleeds" to the left about a 1/2" or so and really distorts text in Red.

It really affects the look of some MAME games which have a lot of red.

My video card is an older ATI AIW and I have tried for hours playing with all of the settings on both the video card and the TV.

Is there anything that can help this or do I just need to accept it? Would a newer video card be any different.

Please help me......

Sorry to add more to this but I feel i am missing something obvious here.

If this forum isn't the place for info on application on Standard Definition TVs, could anyone point me in the right direction for tweaking the image on a SDTV?

You are wasting your time connecting a PC to a TV with S-Video.

It will never look good, because S-Video doesn't have enough bandwidth to handle a high quality signal.

Stick to a stand alone DVD player and/or game console, or get a TV that supports VGA or HD Component signals.
