Hi,

_

I have the Bravo D1 and use the 1:1 via full through (HS10) on 720p (D1) setting; the behavior is present on all D1 settings, but 720p appears to be the best to me. The colors and details are awesome, but I think that some sort of interlace, deinterlace (I'm not sure how the terminology goes, sorry) is in play because it appears that the image has to "catch up" sometimes, particularly with action scenes, because it appears that there are thin, horizontal lines in the image that quickly (but not quickly enough) get filled in. _Slow or still scenes don't exhibit the behavior as noticably.

Thanks for any education / advice on what is going on here. I wasn't sure whether to post here or in the DVD player forum.

Kris Deering has posted over in the DVD Players section that the D1 has bad deinterlacing. It sounds like you're experiencing what he described.

You can find more about it in the Players section.
