CBS, ABC and PBS are at 278 deg and NBC is at 30 deg. Can the DT signals from 2 Yagis be combined to receive all stations? Or is there a multidirectdional that will receive all OTA? 28 miles to CBS, etc and 60 miles to NBC.

The best thing is to use a rotor. Another option is to use a product like Jointenna from Channelmaster so you can combine the antennas without producing terrible multipath problems. You have to order it for the specific channel desired i.e. in your case the NBC channel. Basically it filters out all channels but one for one antenna and filters just the one channel on the other antenna before you join the signal.

There is info on these products at channelmaster.com and I think they're available online at Stark Electronics (probably other online sources, too).

Be sure the antennas are spaced adequately (50 inches should be o.k.) to prevent unwanted interaction.

P.S. You could also run two seperate downleads into an A-B switch and simply switch between them, but if you're using a preamp it may be impractical to have to duplicate the whole setup.

I think it may be join-tenna if you're doing a search. I saw a reference to it in another thread (one of the Seattle ones here) and I think the vendor was Warren Electronics. I went to their site and the product was a bit hard to find, but they did have it (special order--2-3 week wait per the original poster in that thread and per the website).

Better off with a rotor!

The more you introduce in the signal path (active or passive devices) the more problem3/issues you will have.

You can try a bi-directional antenna (SL-4BT) from Wade Antennas (formerly Jerrold):

A rotator is a definite option. But join-tenna's work really well provided that the single station you're adding is not too close to the other you're combining it with. The join-tenna's are also a bit pricey.

Best,
