No you cannot. Both signals are at the 950-1450 ghz bandwidth. Your receiver sends out a 22KHz tone to the multi-switch to get it to switch to the 119 satellite. For high def and standard def you need a multi-switch.

Combining signal from 2 dishes
I am currently using two D* 18 in round dishes pointed at 101 and 119 with an A/B switch. My question is can I combine the signals and eliminate the switch? If so would I need a Diplexer, a 2 way Splitter or something else?
