My HDTV is currently in the shop, and it probably won't be back in time for the Super Bowl. My uncle, who lives in San Francisco, has an HDTV set with Comcast cable, but no HDTV box. If I take my Motorola Comcast HDTV cable box down to his place, will it work?

No because the box will not be able to communicate with the "head end" it is programmed for.


You could get away with it if you were both in the same city usually will work but not different cities.
