And I quote (after asking a rep from Comcast - formerly ATTBI - when HDTV was coming to cable):

Them: "we don't have a time table for HDTV. You need the correct set for that"

Me: "I have had the correct set for 3 years"

Them: "Our digital cable looks just as good anyhow"

Me: "Actually HDTV it is up to almost 7 times clearer"

Them: "Oh"

Me: "Doooh!!!" - ouch

Has anyone here heard differently about HDTV for Cleveland Comcast???

I would be willing to bet that "better picture" means digital cable which is no significantly better than analog (except from a sound/number of channels standpoint).

I must say that cable modem is great though. Cheaper and faster than DSL, so it might be worth it.
