Hi, I am new to this forum and have learned a great deal and appreciated the expertise available here. I have a basic question that I could really use some help with. Currently, I have comcast hdtv via the motorola QAM decoder. What if any are my options for recording onto a jvc 30k deck? Is there any way to pass the decoded signal into a dtc 100 box with the 169time modifications and then via firewire into the jvc deck? Are the any other option? Help!! thanks in advance.

The only option is a W-VHS unit, it records analog HDTV and 2 ch audio. The D-VHS units are not compatible for HDTV recording with your cable stb.


Do a search for W-VHS, WVHS for lots of info.
