I just got Comcast Digital/HD installed. Some of my channels arent coming in clear on the analog ones and some of the Digital ones don't even come in at all and say "Channel will be availably shortly" or something along those lines. My tech told me its because my signal is too low. He says its around a 10-12 when it should be around 18+ I don't remember the exact numbers though. So my 2 questions is would a low signal give me that message and 2nd is there a way I can check the signal strength coming into my box?
The tech told me he dispatched someone to boost my signal and should be done anywhere from 24hrs to 2 WEEKS! I want to see if I can check the signal to know when its been done.
