Here are my components:
Samsung UN65F7100 LED tv
Comcast Xfinity Motorola RNG200N DVR
Pioneer Elite VSX-32 AV Receiver
Sony Blue Ray BDP-BX57
Harmony ONE
Everything is connected via HDMI cable and routed through my receiver.
Previously, I had a 5 year old Sony LCD tv and it all worked fine. The new addition of the Samsung LED tv and new Comcast box are causing the problems I'll describe below:
I have my Harmony ONE programmed to "watch tv" and it turns on the Receiver (set to Comcast tv), DVR is always ON, and turns on the tv. It's really hit or miss when I turn on the system. Sometimes, it will work and I'll be able to watch tv. Other times, it's as if the tv doesn't see the Comcast signal. If I do a soft reboot of the Comcast box, sometimes that will fix it. Other times, I"ll have to do a hard reboot. Sometimes, nothing will work at all.
If I watch content through the Sony Blue Ray player, it works flawlessly.
I'm at wits end with this. Has anyone else experienced something like this?
Thanks in advance!!!
