Comcast HD/DVR in S.E. Michigan

Well, I've read through many threads trying to figure out the different models. To me it looks like the 34xx series is newer and maybe more desirable than the 64xx series. Has anyone in S.E. Michigan got a 34xx series HD/DVR box from Comcast? I called the local office in Taylor, they didn't know the models.
