I've been with Dish since 1998 and I love them BUT the other day I visited my brother, Oh boy. . .He has Comcast HD and my mouth droped when I saw the Science Chanel there!! It looked way better then my Dishnetwork Science channel.

Do I need to make a switch or is it just because my brother lives in the next county over??????

I seriously doubt it would matter much unless your county doesn't get as many channels. I have both Comcast and Dish in Knoxville, TN and there are plenty of channels that Comcast passes through without altering that absolutely destroy anything on Dish network. On the channels that Comcast puts on a 3:1 mux, I'd say it is a tossup. Dish also never gives you a full 1920x1080 resolution. If those are your two options, then I'd get Comcast. The On Demand service is great too. It is nothing like DishONLINE... If I hadn't "moved" to get the Detroit Tigers games I'd drop Dish entirely. Comcast also has a 30 day guarantee where you can try the service for 30 days and if there are problems you can get rid of it and get your money back. There isn't much risk in trying it.
