Hi, I would like to know if any one is using the Firewire IEEE1394 port on the S/A HD8300r Box and dose it work. My ComCast said it is not activated but heard of some people using it. My TV has Two IEEE1394 port and one HDMI. My DVD player is on the HDMI and I would like to replace my Component cables from the cable box with the IEEE1394 cable for better pitcher and sound.

Any info would be Great
