LA Confidential will be out later this year when the DVD is re-released. Heat will probably be available in HD in 2008.

 HD DVD Format Blog says they're hearing from various sources that LA Confidential is going to be released. No link, but the blog has been reliable in the past.

I can watch Heat everytime it's on tv. There are just some movies that I can watch over and over no matter what the format or pic quality-Casino and Training day are others.
