Discovery TV bought the rights, so will it be in HD?!?

http://www.cnn.com/2004/WORLD/europe...eut/index.html

A team of Romanian and U.S. doctors say they have successfully removed a tumor weighing 175 pounds (80 kilograms) from a woman patient in an operation lasting 10 hours.

Bunghez's family said they had long tried unsuccessfully to raise money for the operation, which was eventually paid for by the Washington-based Discovery Channel in exchange for film rights.

I would be very surprised to see this on Discovery-HD Theater, IMO, I doubt it. The HD channel doesn't show much os anything that is on the SD Discovery channels, except the occasional Trading Spaces.

I'm sure you will see this on one of the SD Discovery owned Channels like Discovery Health(my bet) or The Learning Channel.

Your thread title is very misleading. You are implying that this was recorded in HD, that it will be shown in HD, and that it will be shown on Discovery HD. None of this is known to be true.
