Please comment on the following connections - alt. suggestions will be appreciated.


Oppo DVD --> HDMI --> Denon A/V Receiver --> component -> 50" plasma

--> Kef speakers

Oppo--> TV via hdmi --> oppo--> to avr via optical or coaxial -->avr ,

Because the avr will not down convert from hdmi to component video so you will need a direct video feed from dvd to tv and audio to avr.
