Hey guys,

I currently have an ATI Radeon 6900 Video Card. I have an Asus P8Z68 Deluxe Motherboard and I'm running Windows 7 64 bit. I would like to replace my ATI Radeon 6900 Video Card with a comparable or better Nvidia Graphics Card. It will be used in a HTPC hooked up to a 42" Plasma TV using HDMI. It will be used to watch 1080p content using MadVR so I need it to have the best picture quality. Supporting 4K content would be nice but not a necessity.

Any help is greatly appreciated

For $150 you can get an Nvidia GTX 750ti which would play most of the recent titles at max settings (1080p).

Here is one after doing a quick search:   http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?gclid=CPK4i7vBwL0CFcqUfgodjLYAjg&Item=N82E16814487025&nm_mc=KNC-GoogleAdwords&cm_mmc=KNC-GoogleAdwords-_-pla-_-Desktop+Graphics+Cards-_-N82E16814487025&ef_id=UzrwPQAAAXh-giUr:20140402000859:s

I'm not necessarily recommending this particular card (although I am an EVGA fan)... I'd get the highest clock rated card for the price point you want.  As far as the GTX 750ti is concerned, it's new tech, has low power consumption and does well with modern games.  I like the small form factor for HTPC too.
