comparing pio1015 to my rxv1200

hi, i currently own an rxv1200 for my home theater which i've owned for about 3 years now. i'm in the market of buying a receiver to use with my computer where i currently have klipsch gmx speakers (2.1). i also have an sd pvr and dvd player hooked up to my display and speakers, using the aux input on the speakers and a cheap RCA a/v selector. i'm planning a small speaker setup for this computer with possibly klipsch quintet III speakers or a small combo from paradigm (titan fronts, atom rears), just to give an idea of what i plan to use the receiver with.

i have found that given my budget the best receiver i can get would be the pioneer 1015. actually i've been so impressed with it's features that i have been wondering if this receiver is actually better than the rxv1200 i have with my home theater. the yammy actually cost me 2 or 2.5 times more than the pioneer would, and i have read that although the 1015 has many great features the audio is not it's strongest suit. so just from an audio perspective can this pioneer sound better than the yammy i have with my home theater.

i feel that it's not time yet to buy a serious upgrade to my rxv1200 since i am still about 12 months away from diving into the hi-def market and maybe the 1015 is too much for a computer setup and i should go for something cheaper like a pio 815 instead.

any advice would be greatly appreciated. thanks
