I am going to pick up a 40" LCD soon and am looking to not spend a fortune.

something else?
Both of those sets are a bit under $900 currently and I would like to stay at that price or lower.
I plan to do a little bit of video games but mostly just casual TV and lots of football. I remember I had a toshiba that looked like crap (can't remember model number) during motion for football and the blur was unbearable. I think I want 120hz. Is 120hz amazing compared to 60hz or is it marketing?
